Up next in our OSI Prep Pigskin Preview is Elkhorn South. The storm dominated Class B the last three years with two state titles and only two losses over that period.
However, 2018 will bring a new challenge as the team is moving up to class a and will now compete against the biggest schools in Nebraska week in and week out.
"We were really excited because we are going to be facing some new faces and some better teams and that will make us better," said senior running back Jason Carlos.
"We put in work no matter what the schedule is so it's fun," said senior lineman Michael Kelly. "Coach Stanley says to prepare for every team the same way so it's a bigger challenge and we're looking forward to it."
Last season the storm went 10-2. They'll open 2018 against Elkhorn in a rivalry game.
