We continue our Prep Pigskin previews Tuesday with Millard West. The Wildcats are coming off a state quarterfinal appearance last season in which they blew a 20-point second half lead against Omaha Burke. The team is trying to move on from the loss in fall camp.
"There's a lot of things that go in to winning the whole thing and we don't talk about it," said Head Coach Kirk Peterson. "Let's focus on August 6 and then August 7 and we'll worry about November 19 later on."
The Wildcats will play a tough schedule in 2018. "It's going to be really exciting, it won't be the easiest but that's how I like it," said senior tight end Jacob Harmdierks. "They will be fun, competitive games we're not going to get better by playing bad teams."
