Skutt got out to a slow start, but didn't look back from the second quarter on as the Skyhawks down Scottsbluff 48-27 to claim their fourth Class B state championship in program history.
Scottsbluff struck first after a blocked punt on the Skyhawks' first drive of the game with a two yard touchdown run from Christ Busby.
The Bearcats forced yet another fumble in the second quarter and capitalized with a touchdown pass to Jeremiah Delzer giving Scottsbluff the 14-0 lead.
After a slow start, the Skyhawks took back the momentum in the second quarter.

After that statement, Epperson would score three first-half touchdowns. The Skyhawks scored on four-straight possessions to take a 27-14 lead at the half.

Epperson would tack on three more touchdowns before it was all said and done to bring his total to six on the night.
The Skyhawks claim the Class B State Title after a four-year drought, losing in the state finals in 2016 and 2017.
