We saw some big statements made in the opening weekend of High School football. Omaha North made it's claim as the team to beat in Class A with an impressive wire-to-wire road win at defending champ, Millard North. Omaha Creighton Prep and Omaha Burke looked very strong in their openers as well.
In Class B, Elkhorn South and Elkhorn both went on the road against a tough opponent and walked away with victories. Things ramp up this week starting on Thursday night.
