Looking for one of the final two spots in the Class B semifinals at the state soccer tournament Thursday night, Elkhorn South clinched a berth in the semis, picking up the win over Gretna, 3-2.
The Storm struck early, scoring in the first four minutes of the game and survived a late Dragons' push to hold on for the 3-2 win. Elkhorn South will face Columbus in the semifinals Saturday night.
