The Creighton Prep Boys Tennis team is bringing home some hardware after the 2016 NSAA State Championships. The Championship was hosted at Tranquility Park and began on Thursday, Oct. 13.
This year's win marks the third consecutive team state title for the Junior Jays after Prep defeated Lincoln Southwest earlier this afternoon.
The Junior Jays are bringing back more than just a team championship. Thomas Kennedy and Ryan McNamara were the number one doubles champions, Brett Slezack placed second in number one singles, Alex King placed third in number two singles and Maxim Oleyniko/Brian O'Flanagan placed first for number two doubles.
