This weekend, high schools across Nebraska will flood the Centurylink Center in Omaha for the 2018 NSAA Wrestling Championships. The tournament will begin Thursday morning and extend through the finals Saturday evening.
Live updates from first round, quarterfinals of NSAA Wrestling Championships
The first round begins Thursday, Feb. 15 with classes B and C weighing in at 8 a.m. Following weigh ins, class B and C wrestlers will compete across 10 mats in the first round at 9:30 a.m. with the quarterfinals following.
Class A and D will weigh in at 2:30 p.m. and begin the first round at 4 p.m. followed by the quarterfinals. The first and second round of consolations begin at 9:30 a.m. Friday for classes B and C and will wrap up around 12:30. Class A and D consolations run from 12:30 p.m. to around 5 p.m.
The semifinals and third round consolation matches begin Friday at 5 p.m. for all classes spread across eight mats. The tournament will pick back up Saturday morning for consolation semifinals at 9:30, followed by 3rd and 5th place matches.
The state finals for all classes will start Saturday, Feb. 17 at 2 p.m. across four mats. For more information on this weekend's event and a full interactive bracket, head over the the NSAA website.
