In a rematch of the Class A championship game from a season ago, Omaha Marian earned the same result, defeating Millard North, 2-0, to repeat as state champions. It's also the Crusaders' third state title in four years and its 14th in school history.
Delaney Gunn got the scoring started for Marian in the first half on an impressive breakaway, and Rachel Johnson capped off her Crusader career with a score off a free kick to put Marian ahead 2-0.
