The Omaha Skutt girls' soccer team got off to a strong start to beat Columbus, 3-1, in the first round of the state soccer tournament on Thursday night.

The Skyhawks kept their hopes for a three-peat alive and will now face top seed Elkhorn South on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the semifinals.
