LA VISTA (KMTV) — The Papillion-La Vista softball team started its state title defense with an 8-0 shutout win in six innings in the season opener on Thursday night at La Vista City Park.
Oklahoma recruit Jordyn Bahl threw a one-hitter striking out 13 while also hitting a walk-off homer in the 6th inning.
Mia Jarecki also tallied two homers on the night for the Monarchs.
