Skutt sweeps its way to state semifinals

Top seeded Omaha Skutt swept Bennington in the first round of the state volleyball tournament.

Omaha Skutt showed why its the top seed in Class B with a sweep over Bennington in Thursday's quarterfinal match at the state tournament.

Megan Skovsende led the way with 12 kills for the Skyhawks, while Lily Heyne and Lindsay Krause both added ten.

Skutt will face Elkhorn South in Friday's semifinals starting at 7 p.m.
