The legend of Bubba Starling grew a little larger today. In his second at bat as an Omaha Storm Chaser the former Husker quarterback commit launched a three-run homer almost on to the concourse. But, the legend doesn't stop there. After the home run power went out at Werner Park. The fans started chanting that "Bubba knocked the power out." It's Starling's first game, and he's already having Roy Hobbs moments.
Starling was inches away from a home run in his first at bat. He had to settle for a double off the wall. It was a successful first game for the former first round pick, and the hype train has clearly left the station.
