PAPILLION, Neb. (KMTV) Brian Poldberg recently picked up his 300th victory as manager of the Omaha Storm Chasers. The Carter Lake resident now has the 2nd most wins in franchise history.
"It means I've been here the 2nd longest," Poldberg joked.
Poldberg was named the 18th manager in team history in November 2013 after leading Double-A Northwest Arkansas the previous six seasons.
"When I go in the clubhouse I like to joke around and have fun with the guys," said Poldberg.
He played for Omaha from 1983-1985 competing in 179 games.
"For me, it's all about the players getting better and teach these young guys what they're supposed to do and how to do it right," Poldberg said.
