OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Events are returning to the CHI Health Center and 100 jobs are available to support those events.

A job fair will be held Tuesday, Feb. 23 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the CHI Health Center. It will be an in-person job fair, and they ask that you pre-register.

"This is a sign from the industry that we are hoping to be getting people back in the building sooner rather than later," said Kristyna Engdahl, MECA Director of Communications

They are looking to hire 100 people to work the many different upcoming events to be held at the CHI Health Center.

"We are looking at having people for the NCAA Volleyball Championship, then after that we have swim trials, and the College World Series and also book people to work concerts for our summer schedule," Engdahl said.

The jobs are part-time, and they want people who want to be part of the action.

"These should be people who like people, who are enthusiastic about big events and what is going on in Omaha," Engdahl said. "These people are going to be the first line of interaction with guests to our community and we want that first impression to be a good one."

Applicants will know before they leave if they are hired. For those who do show up they stress that you socially distance, use plenty of the hand sanitizer they have around the building and wear your mask.
