OMAHA, NE — One of the industries hit hardest by the coronavirus pandemic was the restaurant industry.
Many restaurants were forced to close or switch to carry-out only as the pandemic hit.
Now, restaurants are being allowed to reopen. Some have fully reopened while others still are operating as carry out only, and some have shuttered their doors for good.
3 News Now anchor Jennifer Griswold held a Facebook Forum to talk about how restaurants are dealing with the "new normal," and how those that have reopened are trying to keep their staff and their customers safe.
Joining us on the panel are:
* Zoe Olson - Executive Director of the Nebraska Restaurant Association
* John Wade - Director of Operations for Restaurants Inc. , which operates several restaurants in Omaha
*Stacy Winters - Co-founder of the Facebook group Omaha Food Lovers
