LINCOLN (KMTV) — Luke McCaffrey, Kade Warner & Will Farniok have all entered the transfer portal and are leaving the Nebraska football team.
McCaffrey made his announcement on Twitter on Tuesday:
After struggling with this decision for weeks, I have decided to enter the transfer portal and explore my options. I am thankful for the support Nebraska fans have shown me. I have so much love for my coaches and teammates from my time here. I am excited for the future.

McCaffrey started two games at quarterback this past season, completing 48 of 76 passes for 466 yards and a touchdown. The redshirt freshman rushed the ball 65 times for 364 yards and three touchdowns in 2020.
Meanwhile, Warner was a junior wide receiver & a team captain catching five passes for 40 yards.

They join fellow offensive player Wan'Dale Robinson as the now other former Huskers to transfer out of the program.
As a sophomore in 2020, Farniok played in just one game at center in the season opener against Ohio State.
