The 2017 commitment list continues to grow for the Husker’s as they land in-state recruit Austin Allen. Allen is a 6-foot-8, 230-pound tight end from Aurora, Nebraska. In Allen’s junior season with Aurora, the Huskies made an appearance in the Class B state championship game. Allen played both tight end and linebacker.
According to Rivals.com, Allen was at the Husker’s practice facilities for Nebraska’s final spring practice when he gave Mike Riley his verbal commitment. Allen then announced his commitment to the public via Twitter shortly after.
