SEATTLE (KMTV) — The Detriot Tigers selected Nebraska second baseman Max Anderson with the 45th overall pick in the second round of the MLB Draft Sunday.

Anderson, a Millard West grad, led the Huskers in hitting his junior season with 21 home runs and a .414 batting average.

Anderson was the 91st-ranked prospect on MLB.com heading into the draft.
