Nebraska offensive lineman Jaimes opts out of Rutgers game, will prepare for NFL

LINCOLN (KMTV) — Nebraska senior offensive lineman Brenden Jaimes has played his last snap for the Huskers. Jaimes announced on Twitter Monday afternoon that he will opt out of NU's game Friday against Rutgers and will start preparing for the NFL Draft.

The Texas native started 40 straight games for the Big Red, a Nebraska offensive lineman record.

The Huskers play at Rutgers on Friday starting at 3 p.m. on BTN.
