HASTINGS (KMTV) — The Omaha Skutt Catholic softball team captured its first Class B state title in seven years on Friday with an 8-4 win over Hastings.

"I always feel like I'm going to be a Skyhawk by heart," said senior infield Emily Swoboda following her final game with Skutt. "It just feels so good to be taking something with to me and to end this on a positive note. I told my parents I wasn't going to come home in tears unless I was happy crying."
