Rain delay at College World Series, no winner's bracket game Tuesday night

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The two College World Series games scheduled for Tuesday will now be played on Wednesday because of rain.

The Louisville/Auburn contest will resume at 11 a.m. on Wednesday with the Cardinals leading the Tigers 4-1 in the top of the 5th inning. Gates to TD Ameritrade Park Omaha will open at 9 a.m. Central time.

Meanwhile, the winner's bracket game between Vanderbilt & Mississippi State will now be played 65 minutes following the conclusion of the Louisville/Auburn game on Wednesday.

The elimination game between Florida State and Texas Tech on Wednesday night is still scheduled for 6 p.m.

Game 7 (resumption) – #7 Louisville (V) vs. Auburn (H), 12 p.m. ET (Louisville leads 4-1 in T5)

Game 8 – #2 Vanderbilt (V) vs. #6 Mississippi St. (H), 65 minutes after the conclusion of Game 7

Game 9 – #8 Texas Tech vs. Florida St., 7 pm ET
