The National Weather Service issued two weather alerts Monday afternoon.
This includes a severe thunderstorm warning for Douglas, Washington, Pott and Shelby Counties until 4:15 p.m.

A tornado watch has also been issued in parts of Nebraska until 10:00 p.m.
Hazards with this storm include 60 mph wind gusts and quarter sized hail. The storm is moving northeast at 55 mph.

There is also a tornado watch for most of Iowa including the western part of the state until 10:00 p.m.
