OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Creighton volleyball's season has come to an end after being swept by Washington (25-19, 25-21, 25-23) in the second round of the NCAA Tournament Saturday night.

The Jays finish the season with a 29-5 record, a BIG EAST tournament championship and a win in the first round of the tournament.

Creighton hit just .113 on the night, while Washington hit .240 in the match. Taryn Kloth led the Jays in kills with 11, while Jaali Winters added another 8.

The Jays led momentarily 24-20 in the third set trying to prevent the sweep, but after a reversed call the Huskies went on a run to close it out.
