OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — As people around the company lose their jobs due to the ongoing coronavirus crisis, many grocery stores say they're in need of workers. Kroger, which the Baker's stores here in Omaha are a part of, said they are ready to hire 20,000 people.
Kroger says they have recently hired 23,500 people are looking to add another 20,000 into the fold.
The company says their average hourly rate is $15 and works out to over $20 with benefits factored in.
