Community acquired COVID-19 case reported in Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KMTV) — Mayor Leirion Gaylor Baird and the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department announced a community acquired case of COVID-19 Tuesday, bringing the community total to 57.

The case involves a man in his 30's who is self-isolated. All close contacts are self-quarantined, according to the health department.

The health department reports one death and 1,716 negative tests.

Currently there are 871 cases of COVID-19 in Nebraska and 18 deaths.
