OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) - Nebraska Medicine will no longer allow visitors in its hospitals or clinics as of Friday due to concerns about coronavirus.
"We understand this change may make your stay or appointment with us more difficult. However, we believe this decision is necessary given the current extraordinary circumstances," Nebraska Medicine wrote on its website.
There are some exceptions to the policy. Pediatric patients may have two healthy parents, or designated adult visitors, one at a time.
Additionally, labor and delivery patients may have one healthy visitor.
Nebraska Med says if you have an upcoming appointment, only patients will be allowed inside. They ask that friends or family members wait in the car.
