Omaha police said they responded to a male victim suffering from several gun shot wounds at 43rd and Emmet streets.
It happened at 9:28 pm Monday night.
The victim went to Creighton University Medical Center in critical condition.
Police said a lot of people and family outside the area so police had to crowd control to prevent contamination of the shooting area.
At this time there are no suspect vehicles.
