The holiday weekend starts with a bang as tens of thousands of people fill Memorial Park to celebrate with music and fireworks.
The annual Bank of the West Celebrates America Concert started at 6 tonight. Organizers estimate 70,000 people were in attendance.
The concert was headlined by two-time Grammy winner Kenny Loggins. The Omaha based group Finest Hour and Lincoln country-rock group the Dylan Bloom Band opened the show.
Fireworks followed at 9:50p.m.
