MeanStreetsOma, an anonymous Twitter user who has grown popular while tweeting Omaha's police activity, posted audio of officers responding to the traffic issue at 90th and Dodge on Tuesday.
At about 10:30 a.m., an officer radioed in the request:
"Can you get ahold of streets? I'm sure there are numerous requests, but westbound on Dodge Street, approaching 90th Street, I got numerous cars stuck."
Police continue to talk about the need for snow plows in the area.
KMTV Action 3 News arrived at the intersection for a live report in the Midday newscast, which was also streamed on KMTV.com.
