Bellevue Police officers arrested two people after an AR15 rifle was found during a traffic stop early Wednesday morning.
According to officials, officers were called to investigate a report of a suspicious man armed with a gun near 38th and Greene Ave in Bellevue.
When officers arrived to the scene, they found the man conducted a traffic stop.
Authorities identified the driver of the vehicle as 19-year-old Jeremiah Williams from Omaha, and the passenger as 18-year-old, Jocylyn Loeza-Garcia of Bellevue.
During the traffic stop, officers found an AR15 rifle that was hidden behind the seat in the car.
Police officers also learned that the firearm was reported as stolen from Omaha back in November 2014.
Both Williams and Loeza-Garcia were taken into custody without incident.
While on scene, another man by the name of Anthony Howell arrived to the scene.
Howell told officers that Williams stole his vehicle at gunpoint, approximately an hour earlier near 42nd and Harrison Street.
Police said Howell did not report the theft of his vehicle at the time it occurred.
Williams was arrested for several charges including robbery, use of a weapon to commit a felony, possession of a stolen firearm.
Loeza-Garcia was arrested for possession of a stolen firearm and carrying a concealed weapon.
Both Williams and Loeza-Garcia were lodged at the Sarpy County Jail.
