Omaha Police officials say the 22-month-old has been found safe after reports of a child abduction Wednesday afternoon.
The call was reported at 48th and Boyd around 3:30 p.m..
Police were able to locate the suspect near 15th & Pine around 4:30 p.m..
After 5:00 p.m., OPD officials said the child was found safe and added it was not a child abduction.
OPD said the child was with a family friend.
Friend told officials her 22-month-old baby was down for a nap and that's when a known male suspect took her.
OPD said had several officers and canine units searching for the baby.
That search lead police to the Pine Towers apartments.
Four people were found inside a car to take to another family friend.
Authorities say three people are being questioned.
OPD officials added that this was more of a custody battle.
The suspect will be charged with obstruction of justice and no one will be charged with child abduction.
