Thursday night, the future Crossroads redevelopment plan hit a wall after the City of Omaha pulled incentives to the developer.
Mayor Jean Stothert said developer Rod Yates presented a deficient application for tax increment financing, for the project at 72nd and Dodge and missed a key deadline.
In a letter to Yates, city attorney Paul Kratz said if Yates submits completed applications, the city might re-visit the incentives.
