A Vietnam veteran who served our country died with no family at his side.
Tuesday, local veterans and community members made sure 68-year-old Private Donald Stark received a proper goodbye.
Many gathered at the Omaha National Cemetary to honor and stand for fallen Private Stark.
He severed in the Vietnam War. After failed efforts to locate family members, veterans, community members and veteran organizations showed up to properly bid farewell and pay tribute to Private Stark.
The American Legion Riders and the Patriot Guard escorted his body to a pavillion where dozens paid their respects.
