The kindness continues for Deputy Burbridge and Deputy Morgan who was shot last week.
This time, overflowing across the river, at the Gene Leahy Mall.
The non-profit "Strength Behind the Blue" encouraged people to sign a card for Deputy Burbridge's family.
Also, a get well card for Deputy Morgan.
The group started after Kerrie Orozco was killed in the line of duty, saying it's returning the favor after Iowa communities supported Omaha back then.
"It's our turn to give back to them and it's our turn to show them that support and meet them where they are," said Anne Smith, member of "Strength Behind the Blue." "We've been there and it's a really awful place to be."
People have purchased "Support Blue" items. Proceeds from those items are split for a memorial fund and the non-profit.
