December 21, is the busiest delivery day of year for the United States Post Office, with 30 million packages expected to hit mailboxes and doorsteps across the country.
In a news release, Omaha Postmaster Keith Reid said, “It’s all about providing outstanding service to our customers and keeping our package network fluid.
Between Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve – almost 600 million packages are expected to be delivered nationwide, with a record 2.6 million in Nebraska.
