Council Bluffs police say a man was arrested after crashing while trying to flee officers in Council Bluffs.

The crash happened around 1:30 a.m. on 36th Street, near Avenue G.

Police say officers tried to stop Justin Fowler, Papillion, Nebraska, for reckless driving, but he led officers on a chase until turning onto a dead-end street where he crashed into a fence and rolled his vehicles.

Investigators say the vehicle turned out to be stolen out of Omaha.  Fowler was also found to be carrying methamphetamine, police said.

He faces charges of possession of meth with intent to deliver, second-degree theft, felony eluding, reckless driving, speeding and more.

Two women who were passengers in Fowler’s car were taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
