One of the inmates who escaped from the Lincoln correctional center this week is now in custody.

On Sunday, Officials say they arrested and charged 50-year-old Wanda Minor was charged with aiding and abetting an escapee in connection with fugitive Timothy Clausen.

Armon Dixon was captured Saturday afternoon after state troopers say he broke into a Lincoln home and physically assaulted two women- one 60 years old, the other 20 years old.

Troopers saw Dixon going into a storm drain as they arrived.

Then they sent in a robot to find him. He eventually came out of the drain peacefully. Dixon and another inmate, Timothy Clausen were discovered missing Friday morning after a headcount.

Nebraska corrections director Scott Frakes says his agency failed to carry out its mission to keep the public safe.

"“There are no excuses for this lapse. At this point we know the failure to follow established, basic, security practices contributed to these escapes," says Frakes.

Clausen who is still on the loose is serving time for sexual assault of a child and is considered dangerous.

Police believe Clausen is now in the Omaha area. Authorities say if you see him- don't approach him and call 911.
