Omaha police and firefighters were the scene of a crash between an SUV and a fire truck.
The accident happened at 16th and Leavenworth around 10:30 Wednesday morning. After the collision, the fire truck struck a building. Four firefighters on board were taken to Nebraska Medicine to be checked out.
It happened just after 10:30am. Battalion chief Tim Mccaw says a fire truck t-boned a white truck at 16th and Leavenworth sending the engine and four firefighters through the brick wall of an art gallery.
Four firefighters suffered minor injuries. The driver of the truck was taken to a trauma center in serious condition.
