Omaha fire investigators have made progress in their investigation into the January fire that destroyed a funeral home.
Battalion Chief Tim McCaw tells KMTV that the fire at Heafey Hoffman, Dworak & Cutler funeral home on West Center January 26th is being classified as accidental, but the cause has not been determined. Three firefighters and co-owner Bill Cutler were injured in the fire.
The building was a total loss. The funeral home plans to rebuild on the site, which should take about a year to complete.
