The Omaha firefighter injured while bull riding at the Sarpy County Fair over the weekend is showing "great improvement," according to his wife.
A neurologist at CHI Bergan Mercy has told the family that Tom Bartek has suffered no significant brain or cognitive damage but he will have to rehab.
The head injury was sustained when Bartek was thrown from the bull while raising money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
