OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) -- — A Downtown Omaha nightclub says they're most likely moving, but not because neighbors complained to the city last month.

The owner of Karma Nightclub at 15th & Farnam Streets says the building sustained significant water damage from recent rain. They're now looking for a new space, and probably won't stay at the current building.

In September the Omaha City Council told the owner he'd have to file a new liquor license application Because of noise, fighting, and littering issues when they were open.

"The building is very old, had a lot of problems, we had to do a lot to bring it up to health code and fire code when we went in there. With all the water damage and the leakage that's gone on its actually kind of ruined the upstairs bar," said Paul Hyde, Owner of Karma Nightclub.

Hyde will have to go in front of the Nebraska Liquor Control Commission for a hearing on Wednesday for delinquent credit.

They're looking to relocate downtown or elsewhere, and Hyde says they continue to make changes to improve security, cleanliness, and crowd control.
