Omaha residents will have an opportunity to talk with police officers over coffee Wednesday morning.
The Omaha Police Department is hosting a “Coffee with a Cop” community gathering from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at McDonald’s on 30th Street and Ames Avenue.
Organizers say it builds relationships with the community, allowing people to talk about issues in an informal setting.
Residents will also be able to meet officers who work in the neighborhood.
