A popular Florence restaurant will rise from the ashes in a different part of town.
The city council will hold a hearing and vote on a liquor license request for a Mouth of the South location near 70th Street and Ames Avenue.
In April 2017, a fire destroyed the North 30th Street location. Last August, owner Ryan Ernst told us he planned to rebuild with more seating, a bigger kitchen, and a rooftop lounge.
