OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Technology normally used for entertainment is making its way into hospital rooms at Nebraska Medicine.
Virtual reality is helping kids about to undergo an MRI or radiation treatment learn more about the procedure.
The goal is to take away the unknown, and help them feel a little less anxious.
Patients can navigate the procedure room with a video game controller, and can use a V-R headset to be completely immersed.
