Snow came in waves Tuesday causing messy road conditions. Plow drivers have been pushing snow since very early Tuesday morning.

A third round of snow blanketed the area creating more headaches for drivers.

Omaha city streets maintenance  supervisor Austin Rowser said over 100 plows will be working the streets all night long and their focus will still be on the major routes.

"We'll just keep running those as the snow comes down we'll keep monitoring and running plowing and salting," said Rowser.

Helping the city remove snow overnight in the residential and side streets are contractors like Mike Bartholet.

Bartholet has been working since the wee-hours in the morning and burning the midnight oil plowing streets.

"I don't even know what time it is--probably 14 hours so far?," said Bartholet.

Rowser said there's still a long way to go to have snow-free streets. He hopes to have that process done by noon tomorrow.

Rowser said you should not worry about the re-freezing because the crews put out a lot of salt on the roads throughout the day.
