OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Two people were injured in a crash Saturday afternoon near 72nd and Bedford Ave.
While dealing with a nearby disturbance in the area, authorities observed a black Dodge Charger traveling northbound on 72nd while speeding.
The Charger collided with a southbound Dodge Ram truck turning left onto Bedford Ave.
The collision caused the Ram to roll onto its side.
Both drivers were transported to Bergan Mercy.
The driver of the charger, Jorge G. Valenzuela Saenz, 20, suffered minor injuries and was cited for reckless driving.
The driver of the Ram, Rudy J. Camarillo, 36, suffered a severe leg laceration that is not considered life-threatening.
Alcohol use was not a factor, according to Omaha Police.
