A second night of protests in Omaha turns tense as police and protesters clashed, and protesters moved their protest from 72nd and Dodge to the Omaha Police Headquarters at S. 15th St. downtown.
Police surrounded their own building with police units and aggressively tear-gassed protesters. Our digital reporter Jessika Eidson was reporting live when tear gas hit the area she was reporting from and protesters began running away.
Police are also reporting a civilian was shot at 12th and Harney, and are urging people to stay away from the area.
Please stay away from the downtown area. Civilian shot at 12th and Harney. Suspect is at large. #opd via @OPDLtThomas
