Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo has introduced a tapir calf into its habitat at the Lied Jungle.
The calf, Sariah, was born on Aug. 31 and is calf of two 6-year-old tapirs. Sariah currently weighs 129 pounds but will grow to between 600 and 800 pounds.
Malayan tapirs are an endangered species and have been a part of the Omaha Zoo as part of the Species Survival Plan since 1992.
