Omaha Police believe alcohol was a factor in a crash that sent a man to the hospital overnight.
Police were called to the intersection of 56th and Grover for a report of a single vehicle accident around 1 a.m. Friday. Police say 34 year old Richard Kercheval of Omaha lost control of his SUV and crashed into a retaining wall.
Kercheval was taken to Nebraska Medicine with critical, life threatening internal injuries. Police say he was not wearing a seat belt.
