Officers were on alert for multiple carjackings early this morning.
The first one was reported near 61st and south 20th St shortly after 2:30 a.m.
Upon arrival, officers located a 39-year-old male victim who said a vehicle pulled in behind his vehicle and a hispanic male forcibly pulled him out of his vehicle.
The suspect then took off in the victims white Jeep Liberty southbound on Gilmore Avenue with an unknown party.
The victim sustained minor injuries.
Before 6:30 this morning - another carjacking in the area of 36th and Leavenworth Street at the Kwik shop.
Officers located a male victim who says two suspects with handguns demanded his vehicle keys at gunpoint.
The suspects took the victims 1990 Mercedes Benz E4-m and were last seen southbound on South 36th street.
Both carjackings are under investigation. Anyone with information should call Crimestoppers at 444-STOP.
